MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Depression “Isang” continues to traverse Northern Luzon, as it is now in the vicinity of Quirino province, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Friday.

In its 2 p.m. bulletin, the weather bureau said Isang’s center was in the vicinity of Maddela, Quirino, moving west northwestward at 20 kilometers per hour, with maximum sustained winds at 20 kph and gustiness of up to 90 kph.

The following areas are under Storm Signal no. 1: Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Aurora, and the northern portion of Nueva Ecija (Lupao, Carranglan, Pantabangan, San Jose City).
